Maonah Association for Human Rights and Immigration carrying Interior Minister responsible for the occurrence of any possible attacks on the French embassy in Sanaa and demanding to secure and protect all foreign diplomatic missions in Sanaa.


Maonah Association for Human Rights and Migration denounced in a press release today: a series of threats and repeated harassment received by the People's Organization for Defending Rights and Freedoms in the province of Marib Yemen, the latest of which was a crime threat received by Mr. Abdul Alim Hassan President of the People's Organization on Tuesday 09/18/2012 to be eliminated of government work in the case of his refusal to voluntary leave his organization work ... The Association considered that this threat is an attack rejected by the activists and human rights defenders for exercising their human rights and monitoring and detection of violations that occur in that remote province itself, as it considered the intrusive unacceptable in the work of civil society organizations established in accordance with the law, and the Association in its statement said, the leadership of the local authority and Marib security are responsible for any attack that could happen to the Organization of the People and its future, as it demanded to protect the life of the rights activists, and follow-up on those who have threatened and to be arrested and brought to trial according to law ... .

On the other hand the Association holds the Government of Yemen and the Interior Minister full responsibility for any possible attacks the missions and foreign consulates in Yemen may get, especially after the to failure in protecting the U.S. embassy in Sana'a , after the film offending the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), and the Association in its statement called on the Yemeni Interior Ministry on the need to carry its responsibilities in protecting and securing the French Embassy and its staff in particular and the European Union embassies in Sana'a and all foreign embassies in Yemen in case of any barbaric attacks in the future after trading media information published by the media today, and considered any attack on it is an attack on all the sons of Yemen and the need for the prosecution and seizure and trial of all those behind these barbaric attacks that could damage the Yemeni people and in accordance with the law.
