The General Secretariat of the coalition of civil society organizations of Yemen "partners" and the Maonah Association for Human Rights and Migration and the April 27 Organization approved at its meeting on Saturday, 25 / February / 2012 to grant the "Saba for Peace 2011" award for a number of Yemeni and international political figures based on their role in peace-making and their contribution in creating the peaceful atmosphere for the transfer of power after a year of crisis that almost suffocated this country.

In a press release the "coalition partners and the Maonah Association and the April 27 Organization confirmed that the Trustees of the "Saba for Peace 2011," Award had set today four characters who have had a prominent role in sparing Yemen from slipping back into a catastrophic civil war, and those selected are as follows:

1 - Field Marshal / Ali Abdullah Saleh - the former president.
2 - Field Marshal / Abd Rabo Mansour Hadi - the current President of the Republic.
3 - Dr. / Yassin Said Numan - Secretary General of the Yemeni Socialist Party.
4 - Mr. / Jamal bin Omar - Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Yemen.

According to the press release, the place and date of the award will be determined later.
