Maonah Association: condemns the terrible attacks occurred to the protesters in the radio and television enterprise, and holds the Minister of Information and the armored first division commander responsible of this attack.

The Maonah Association for Human Rights and Immigration condemned the attacks of soldiers from the Armored First Division, on reporters and staff protesting peacefully in the General Organization of Radio and Television, an attack that wounded a number of peaceful protestors and burning and tearing their tents.

And the Association in a press statement considered: breaking into and sabotaging the peaceful sit-in camp held by the journalists and staff by the armed forces following the state _ it _ represents the worst governmental bullying and the crime of state terrorism practiced against the media and employees that are demanding their rights and without legal justification, something which is a flagrant violation for these rights and freedoms of the protestors as a group exercising their right to peaceful protest.

A statement from the Association said: While we deplore and condemn this brutal attacks we demand from all the local and international human rights organizations the condemnation of this heinous crime and to demand those held accountable for committing these abuses and those who stand behind them, while affirming the right of protestors to continue their peaceful sit-in as they are demanding their legitimate and constitutional rights.

The Association concluded its statement by asking the President to resolve the problem of the protesters and respond to their demands and the formation of a inquiry commission into the attacks, and the arrest of officials for this crime, specifically the Minister of Information and the commander of the Armored First Division until the completion of the investigation in the crime and refer them to justice and ensure that they get punishment according to Islam and the law..

God bless and designate.
