Maonah Association condemns and deplores the worst forms of human rights violations that took place in Yemen during the week by the people and leaders belonging to the Islah Party and its allies against the offenders in their opinion.


The Maonah Association for Human Rights and Migration expressed in a press release today: its condemnation and denunciation of the most heinous violations of human rights of offenders in the opinion that took place in Yemen during the week by the people and leaders belonging to the Islah Party and its allies, partners in government, where the association observed within one week only the worst forms of the gross and supplied as follows: -

1 - Sheikh Humaid Al-Ahmar leader of the Islah Party committed the crime of libel and the collective violations against the honor and symptoms of Yemeni, Yemenis in the sit-ins arena that brought him to the government, in an interview conducted with The New York Times "reputable" and published on Thursday, May 23 2012 .. etc ... "
2 - m on 6/1/2012 was the assassination of Sheikh Hamad bin Abadan Izzi leader of the GPC- of Jawf province, the center of the capital Sanaa on political grounds, where the accused elements of the Islah Party of committing the crime,
3 - the Minister of Information Ali Al-Amrani - belonging on the Reform Party and its allies – where he exercised the policy of exclusion and retaliation in conflict with his opinion, and the rape of powers and functions of the President and without legal justification through the appointing a person in the position of , "General Manager of radio and television," while the appointment in accordance with the law in this position is a presidential decree issued by the President, not the powers of the Minister of Information and in accordance with the laws in force, and the second of those offenses and exclusions committed by the Minister Al-Amrani issued a decision of removing the journalist Muhammad Saleh Almkhcr - Director of the Information Office in Radaa from office and without the knowledge or consent of the leadership of the local authority in the province of Al-Baidha the inherent jurisdiction to issue this decision.
4 - on 06/02/2012 m and under the direction of the Minister of Information, current and Major General Ali Muhsin al-Ahmar commander of the Armored First Division split the armed militias followed the division splinter broke into and vandalized the peaceful sit-in camp held by the journalists and staff protesters demanding their rights and without legal justification, something which is a flagrant violation for these rights and freedoms of the protestors as a group exercising their right to peaceful protest.
5 - continued application of the policy of collective punishment against the people by sabotaging and systematically cutting electricity and the bombing of the lines of transport and the explosion of an oil and gas pipelines in the province of Marib and Arhab, "and more than once this week," and continuously and systematically by the armed militias believed, "according to some evidence" they belong to some of the forces partners and political parties in the government of national consensus today, comes the continuation and increase of such collective punishment under the neglect and failure of the Ministers of Interior and electricity to carry out their responsibilities in securing the delivery of these essential services to citizens.
6 - on 06/04/2012 m the militia of the Islam Party and the armed men of the Armored First Division made an assault with weapons and beating on the young independents and youth Houthis and the other in conflict with them in the opinion of the protestors in the courtyard of the University of Sana'a, which resulted in about casualties and injuries of young independent because of this abuse.

A statement by the Association issued this evening, June 5, 2012 AD: The Association is to monitor and document these systematic and massive human rights violations by the Islah Party and its allies, partners in the Government against the conflict with them in opinion and in a week only, which is made deliberately and without any legal justification, the Association, such violations are and offenses contrary to every moral and human values and the supposed national consensus between the government partners, and even considered a flagrant violation of all human rights and freedoms guaranteed in the international and domestic legislation and therefore should be condemned and held accountable by the officials and brought to justice according to law.
And the Association demanded that the President and the Attorney General to open a prompt and comprehensive investigations in these grave and heinous crimes and detect edges and to investigate all crimes committed in Yemen and those who stand behind and speed of bringing them to justice and the judiciary to be punished just and deterrent.
The Association concluded its statement requiring all human rights organizations, local and international to condemn these crimes and systematic violations by a particular political party against the offenders in their opinion and ask the government of Yemen to open the judicial investigations and accounting officials in accordance with law.
