Maonah condemned the siege on the home of Abdullah Alkpody and considered it terrorism crimes, as it also strongly condemned the murder of the sons of the Yemeni Jewish community Haron Al-Zindani....

Maonah Association: deplores and condemns the negative attitude of the government of Yemen towards the held meetings of the dissident Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar with the ambassadors of foreign countries in Yemen and individually, and considered them as a national betrayal.

The statement issued by the Maonah Association for Human Rights and Immigration Condemned what it described as: the continuing siege on the house of Brigadier Abdullah Alkpody since noon today by the militias affiliated with the commander of the Armored First Division dissident Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar in the Bait Meiaad area in Sana'a and in clear daylight and without any legal justification, and in the presence of women and children inside the house, which is considered systematic bullying and intimidation crimes ,continued by the commander of the Armored first Division against the offenders in his opinion.

The association said in a statement issued today on 10 | 6 | 2012: it condemns and deplores the continuation of this brutal blockade of the house of Alkpody in the heart of the capital Sana’a, which comes amid the unjustified silence and the complicity of the government which indicates that the National Reconciliation Government is a government belonging to the dissident, In this regard, it also deplores and strongly condemns the negative government's position of the dissident Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar meetings held with the ambassadors of foreign countries in Yemen to discuss problems and concerns of Yemen, independently and individually, "as if he is elected president," considering it as a national betrayal to the elected president, Field Marshal Hadi and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the confiscation of their legal powers and public disregard to them, and that the downside government's position is what encouraged him today on making siege on houses and tomorrow he will commit what is most terrible unless they deter and stop him, and his trial for all past crimes. Thus, the Association demanded of all human rights organizations, local and international on the condemnation and denunciation of these crimes exercised by the commander of the Armored First Division against Yemen, "State and people," and asking President Hadi to stop the crimes of Major General Ali Muhsin al-Ahmar immediately and hold him accountable and to hold all of the committed and those who stand behind them and according to the law.

In conclusion, the Association statement appealed to the President of the Republic Field Marshal Hadi to meet the children of the Jewish community in Yemen and respond to their demands and solve their problems just like other groups that he meets every day, considering the sons of the Jewish minority in Yemen as Yemeni citizens with full rights and duties, and the Association declares its solidarity with them and is ready to implement peaceful sit-in outside the house of the President in case he don’t meet and interview the children of the Jewish community and solve their problems from the beginning of next week, the Association calls on all events and organizations in solidarity with them under the banner of "equal rights for all" ..
