Maonah Association condemns the continued policy of collective punishment in Yemen, and demands the United Nations for international investigations in all the continued crimes of terrorism in Yemen. As it considers the continuation of Major General Ali Muhsin al-Ahmar in the exercise of his duty in the government after the inclusion of his name in the international list of shame as a crime of international terrorism assuming the regarded responsibility on the Government of Yemen

Maonah Association for Human Rights and Immigration -

The Maonah Association for Human Rights said in a press release issued today: "The humanitarian situation in Yemen now has become very bad, but it's on the verge of collapse and catastrophe in all areas, especially with the evidence of a" collusion "of some international and regional powers with some local forces on the continuation of symbols that causes human rights violations and the symbols of political and military tension in their official positions, as evidenced by the Yemeni present government - even now - do not isolate or trial or investigate those officials suspected of ties to crimes of terrorism and violations of human rights in general and the violators of children's rights in Yemen during the previous crisis, and specifically those officials their names set out in the international list of shame, issued by the United Nations on June 13, 2012 , led by dissident General Ali Mohsen Al-Ahmar commander of first armored division and militias of Al-Ahmar children, which means that the government of Yemen, explicitly rejects the implementation of the resolutions of international legitimacy and legal international demands , so should the international community hold it accountable for that unjustified refusal according to international law.

In this regard, the Maonah Association for Human Rights condemned today in a statement what it called: the continued implementation of the policy of collective punishment against the Yemeni people from systematic power cutting and blowing the lines of transportation of oil and gas pipelines in the province of Marib, "and in particular this week," and continuously and systematically by the armed militias believed " According to some evidence "to belong to some of the forces, political parties, partner in the national consensus government today as the cut of basic services of electricity and water and oil on an ongoing basis lead to inflict severe and heavy damage on the life and security and stability of all Yemenis and the destruction of the national economy and increasing unemployment, poverty and loss of income for most Yemenis due to suspension of all business and jobs because of the persistence of such crimes against electricity, oil, and the persistence and growth of these massive crimes comes in light of the government inability and neglect of the ministers of electricity and Interior to carry out their responsibilities in securing the delivery of these services are essential for the citizens and thus their inability is clear for the detection and prosecution and arrest the perpetrators and bring them to local justice, that is "paralyzed now,".

The statement said that the Association considers that the current government was unable to completely do its responsibilities to the violation of rights of its citizens collectively, but that the "documented" evidence confirms that the key party in the current government is involved in the series of collective terrorist hideous crimes committed daily by al-Qaeda terrorist in most regions of Yemen against unarmed civilians and members of the military camps of Yemen and most recently the massacre terror carried out by a "Somali nationality" terrorist that bombed the convoy of Major General Salem Cotton, commander of the southern military's of Yemen in Aden mid-last week, while the Government of Yemen has not taken any serious steps to investigate the terrorist atrocity that shook the world, in breach of all international resolutions binding it and in violation of both international and regional treaties and national legislation, and riding roughshod over all principles of humanity and moral simple and therefore the government of Yemen is a partner in all the crimes of genocide against children and crimes against humanity that have occurred in Yemen, under the nose of the whole world.

In closing, the Maonah Association appealed to "All national forces in Yemen and the international community and all humanitarian organizations and human rights organizations to join efforts and unite in forcing the Government of Yemen to implement the resolutions of international legitimacy to isolate symbols in the International list of shame of their official positions and the opening of international investigations in all the crimes of terrorism and serious violations of human rights committed in Yemen, and the embodiment of international partnership and local communities in the fight against terrorism and drying up its sources, and considering that the threat of terrorism suffered by Yemen is global and for maintaining international peace and security, and before Yemen sinks into the swamp of terrorism, so as the terrorists and those who stand behind them do not escape with impunity "and on this occasion the Association renews its call for all international organizations and local political forces and citizens to support the campaign to collect one million signatures for the establishment of an international court for crimes of terrorism that took place in Yemen, launched by the Coordination alliance of civil society organizations since the beginning of this month.
