A press statement issued tonight by Maonah Association for Human Rights and Immigration Said: The Association gives thanks to Al-Jazeera channel for its neutral conducted investigation for the assassination of Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat and as it reached to the medical result that he had died poisoned, which was announced yesterday.
The statement said: On this occasion the Association appeals to Al-Jazeera channel to repeat the above-mentioned achievement in the terrorist attack crime that took place in Yemen in the attempted assassination of the President - then - Ali Abdullah Saleh and the assassination of the President of the Shura Council martyr Abdul Aziz Abdul Ghani along with the senior leaders of the Yemeni state while they were praying in the presidency Mosque in June 3, 2011 m, due to the similarity of the circumstances and justifications between the crimes , in accordance with the principle of equality likewise in neutral media, which should be exercised by Al-Jazeera channel in all the circumstances symmetric and without any exception, and the "Maonah Association" justified its above request that comes after more than a year and a month of the presidency mosque terrorist crime without knowing the terrorist gang, "domestic and international," which had carried it out, and as a crime of international terrorism according to the UN Security Council Resolution 2014 on Yemen, and followed by a terrorist crime uglier than its predecessors which is the seventy meter field terrorist massacre that took place in May 21, 2012 m, which resulted in the killing and wounding of hundreds of innocent Yemenis at the hands of a terrorist multinational gang. The fact that the request to open an international investigation in all these crimes comes on the basis of the Charter of the United Nations conventions and international and regional conventions and the international legitimacy resolutions and relevant local legislation.

The press release issued today by the - Maonah Association - said that the Association and all partner organizations declare their full solidarity with the request of the Palestinian Authority and human rights organizations from the United Nations to open international investigations into the assassination of Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat to know the truth and backgrounds of the assassination of the great Arab leader Yasser Arafat poisoned, and at the same time the Maonah Association confirm its repeated request to the government of Yemen and in particular His Excellency President Abed Rabbo Hadi to take similar action to the request of the Palestinian through the application of the United Nations to implement its previous resolutions regarding the opening of international judicial investigations in the presidency mosque crimes and the seventy meter field -terrorist crime and that have already been condemned by the international community, and after that all the mechanisms of judicial and security of Yemen failed to investigate and uncover the truth in the backgrounds of these above terrorist crimes during the last period and the reasons are many, as is the case with the investigation of the Palestinian assassination of Arafat, and given that our common goal today with the international community is to know the truth and uncover the perpetrators and apply justice and the international and national consensus are important of the majority of the people of Yemen, who is suffering daily from the increase in crimes of terrorism and extremism committed by al-Qaeda international terrorist and its local partners on a daily, continuous basis , and the fact that the impunity of terrorists and their associates from punishment - in the past - is what who encouraged the terrorists and those who stand behind them to commit deadliest crimes of its predecessors.
The statement said that the Maonah Association on this occasion repeats its appeal to the international community and the Security Council to open a special judicial investigation of international crimes of terrorism for political reasons against the leaders of the country Yemen and Palestine in view of the similarity of the circumstances and justifications and international bodies shared between all of these terrorist crimes, in order to reveal the truth to the whole world for who committed these heinous crimes, and the need to pursue the terrorists and those who stand behind them, internally and internationally, and bring them to international justice and ensure that no impunity, after the failure of all local mechanisms in the two countries which are unable to reach the truth as we have said.

And Maonah Association concluded its statement by appealing to all the sons and organizations of Yemen and Palestine and all the victims of crimes of terrorism for political reasons and all human rights organizations, local and international to the solidarity with it in the request to the international community to open investigations of international crimes in the assassination of leaders , the two above, and pursuant to the principle of reciprocity in international law, as happened in the decision of the United Nations to set up a committee for an international investigation into the assassination "of Rafik Hariri," as the Association appeals all to solidity with its campaign for collecting one million signatures to create a special international criminal tribunal for crimes of terrorism that took place in Yemen, launched by the coalition "partners" over a month ago and in partnership with the Alliance of organizations "unite "and" civil Alliance for Peace "and that by all possible means internally and externally.
