A daily update statement of the activities, events and agenda of the sixth day (6) at the 51st session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva, prepared and monitored by the Maonah League for Human Rights team / Geneva office in both Arabic and English.

In the context of spreading comprehensive awareness of international human rights mechanisms as one of the goals of the Association, our organization publishes daily and through its website, Facebook and Twitter pages, a daily update of the agenda of the 51st session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva, held from 12 September to 7 October. It publishes the discussion topics before the Human Rights Council and the most prominent daily activities accompanying this session.

As part of today's session, Ma'onah Association for Human Rights and its partners will provide an oral briefing in the interactive dialogue session with the Special Rapporteur on crimes of arbitrary arrest. The briefing will focus on arbitrary detention in Yemen within the framework of the work of this team.

It is worth noting that the Association is a non-governmental organization that holds consultative status with the United Nations (observer status) and participates in this session through a specialized human rights team in this regard. From countries and according to the agenda of each session.

Knowing that the proceedings of this meeting and the text of the briefings will be broadcast live on United Nations television, and we will publish the text of the briefings issued by our organization later.
