The Human Rights situation in Yemen - the past 24 hours: Wednesday, 8 / February / 2012

The Attorney General directs to investigate the incident of dropping the objectives of the revolution based on a complaint made by (Maonah) Association and the home Foundation:

• Lawyer Mohammed Ali Alawo head of (Maonah) Association for Human Rights, expressed his thanks and gratitude to His Excellency the Attorney-General, Dr Ali Ala'aosh for his responsiveness and interaction with the national issues, especially his instructions to investigate the abolition of the objectives of the glorious "26 September and 14 October" Yemeni revolution by the Information Minister Ali Al-Amrani.

Killings:

• At least 5 people were killed and more than 15 others were injured by the security forces attempt to frustrate a rebellion erupt inside the central prison of Dhamar North Yemen on Wednesday afternoon. Sources reported that clashes broke out between security and the prisoners that tried to escape from prison.
