‏AMHRI calls Emergency NGO Dialogue Session to execute The UN Resolutions

The Association Ma’onah for Human Rights and Immigration (AMHRI) announced today that it has submitted an official request to the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs to convene an emergency NGO dialogue session aimed at supporting the implementation of recent UN resolutions concerning the ongoing escalation in the Middle East.

 

‏This initiative comes amid rapidly evolving developments involving military attacks targeting civilians, critical infrastructure, and international navigation, with serious humanitarian consequences requiring coordinated international action.

 

‏AMHRI emphasized that the proposed session aims to:

Strengthen international NGO dialogue

Support the implementation of the UN Security Council resolution of 11 March 2026

Reinforce the outcomes of the UN Human Rights Council resolution of 25 March 2026

Promote civilian protection and uphold international law

 

‏The Association noted that convening such a session would provide a vital international platform for coordination among civil society actors, exchange of perspectives, and advancement of accountability efforts.

 

‏AMHRI also reaffirmed its full readiness to cooperate with the United Nations in organizing the proposed session, including preparing the concept note and coordinating with participating NGOs.  

 

‏The Association concluded by reaffirming its commitment to supporting the implementation of UN resolutions, promoting human rights, and strengthening international efforts to address ongoing global challenges.
